The week started off well and with good news for Fortnite fans who are users of the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro phones because, in a partnership between OnePlus and Epic Games, it was announced that the Chinese company’s smartphones will be the first to run the game at 90 fps.
However, another piece of news that was released today, May 28, may not be very pleasing to the players of the franchise. Last month, Epic Games reported that the current Fortnite season would be extended to the beginning of June, planning to launch Fortnite – Chapter 2’s third season on June 4th. However the company today posted on Twitter that the new launch date will be June 11, a week after the start date.

On its blog, the company also announced a live event scheduled for June 6, at 2 pm Eastern Time called “The Device”. Epic Games warns players to guarantee their seats before, as there will be limited participants in the live.
In an effort to get everything ready for Chapter 2 – Season 3, we are extending Season 2 for a week. The new launch day for the third season will be Thursday, June 11th.
