Although several rumors have indicated that LG could be planning to suspend its smartphone division indefinitely, the manufacturer quickly dismissed the news, confirming that the LG Rollable would be launched this year.
Now, a new certification confirms these intentions to indicate that the manufacturer’s first scrollable smartphone may be about to launch by end of this year. The most recent certification received by LG Rollable was from Bluetooth SIG, one of the most important for the launch of a smartphone on the market.
In the listing of the Bluetooth SIG, the name LG Rollable has been confirmed, as well as the model code LM-R910N and support for Bluetooth 5.2. Unfortunately, the certification ends up not confirming more details about the new smartphone.
What do we know about the LG Rollable?
Although its listing on the Bluetooth SIG has not confirmed further details, over the past few months there have been many rumors, leaks and certifications aimed at the LG Rollable. So, even if not all the details are known, we already have a good idea of what you may have to offer us.
Regarding its screen, one of the main selling points, a 7.4 ″ inch scrollable panel with a Full HD + resolution is expected. When used in “smartphone” mode it will assume a 20: 9 format, while in video mode it will have a 16: 9 format.
Even though it has not been 100% confirmed, everything indicates that the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, supported by 16GB of RAM, will be present.
No information was revealed about their cameras, and it is only known that the smartphone will have a 4,200mAh battery.
As for a possible presentation date, it is still a real unknown, and it is possible that it will be presented later this month.
