Samsung today confirmed the launch of the Galaxy M53 5G, the successor to last year’s Galaxy M52 5G, in India on April 22, after it was introduced earlier this month. This retains the same 6.7-inch FHD 120Hz AMOLED display and 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support from its predecessor, but it replaces the Snapdragon 778G with a Dimensity 900 SoC.

Samsung says this will be the first phone in the segment with the option to automatically switch data. This will be the first Galaxy M series phone with a 108MP camera, which the company thinks will be the best phone in the segment.
