This month, MediaTek unveiled the Dimensity 7050, a rebranded version of the Dimensity 1080, and declared that the Lava Agni 2 smartphone will be the first to use the chip in India. The launch date of the phone, May 16, has been officially announced by the corporation today.

A FHD+ curved AMOLED screen, in-display fingerprint reader, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage are expected to be included with the phone, according to reports.
The Lava Agni 2 would reportedly cost less than Rs. 20,000 and will be manufactured in India. Along with Lava.com, offline retailers, and Amazon.in, the phone will be available for purchase.
