Apple releases a new MacBook Air with a 15.3-inch display and an M2 CPU

As anticipated, Apple debuted its new 15-inch MacBook Air model at the WWDC 2023 event, powered by the M2 processor. It has the same fanless architecture as the 13-inch model and a big 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display with 500 nits of brightness, but it also boasts a brand-new six-speaker sound system with spatial audio and up to 18 hours of battery life.

It is only 1.4 kg in weight and only 11.5 mm thick. A notch houses a Facetime HD 1080p camera. The shell is an all-aluminum unibody, and the component integration is superb.

Along with a 3.5mm headphone jack, the MacBook Air also has MagSafe charging, two Thunderbolt connections for attaching peripherals and an external display up to 6K in resolution.
